Indira Narayan co-ordinates a NEMBC radio training and information project that can help you get on air.

About the training
The training takes place once a week for about 4 hours over 8 weeks. You will be trained by qualified trainers and experienced broadcasters.

You must attend all training sessions. The training curriculum is similar to that covered by the AERTP (Australian Ethnic Radio Training Project).

On completing this basic training, you should be able to produce a radio program and work in a community radio environment. The training offered in this course can go towards qualifying you for a Certificate in Broadcasting (Radio).
