Resources on Domestic Violence

While domestic violence is a very disturbing topic to discuss, it is an area we cannot ignore. Radio is a fantastic way to communicate with people who are often isolated and alone.

The following links are provided for broadcasters to research and locate information around domestic violence for their programming. The links will take you to websites which contain information about domestic violence. They include contacts for support services in each state and territory, resource centres, referral centres, contacts for interviewees, and papers and research on domestic violence.

Most of the information available in the following links is written in English. A note is made in the link description where translated material is available.
