Important Changes To The AERTP
After a decade of providing thousands of ethnic broadcasters with nationally accredited training, government funding for the AERTP has ceased, but the training will continue in a slightly different way.
The AERTP curriculum and many training resources will continue to be available to our members free of charge. Individual stations will need to amploy suitable trainers. The NEMBC may be able to assist with this through our national database of trainers.
Training courses will continue to be available at basic, intermediate and advanced level. Certificates may be issued bearing the logo of the AERTP and the issuing station. The certificates will not necessarily be recognised by stations not affiliated with the NEMBC.
The NEMBC training material is copyrighted, but may be freely used by members of
the NEMBC for the training of ethnic broadcasters so long as the training is
provided free of charge.
