Community Broadcasting Foundation - Ethnic Grants: New Ethnic Broadcasting Groups
Purpose: New ethnic broadcasting groups with languages not yet on air are eligible to apply for a grant to purchase program materials. A grant would be conditional on the group being assured of a regular program on the station, and that any material purchased would belong to the station for use by broadcasters.
Money Available: Up to $1,000
Eligibilty: Broadcasting groups may apply, or the radio station can apply on their behalf, but grants can be paid only to incorporated organisations such as community radio stations or ethnic broadcasting umbrella groups.

Community Broadcasting Foundation - Ethnic Grants: Ethnic Program Grants
Purpose: Ethnic program grants are available to stations based on the number of hours of non-English programming broadcast. Broadly speaking, a fundable program must be in a language mainly other than English, contain no more than 50% music content, have a spoken word content of no more than 25% religious material or references, be produced under the auspices of a recognised local ethnic community language group, be locally produced and be broadcast between 6 am and midnight.

Community Broadcasting Foundation - Ethnic Grants Multicultural Youth Program Support Grants
Purpose: Available to assist young NESB (non-English speaking background) program makers. Guidelines are similar to those for an Ethnic Program grant, except a Multicultural Youth Program Support grant must contain at least 10 percent (10%) non-English language content and be produced by a group of young people all of whom are between 15 and 35 years of age. The group needs to be under the auspices of a recognised ethnic community organisation or community radio station and should beresponsive to the needs of NESB youth.

Eligibilty: Fully licensed community radio stations and holders of temporary community broadcast licences may apply, but must be a bona-fide community broadcaster (eg member of CBAA) and broadcast eligible ethnic programs on a regular basis.

Community Broadcasting Foundation - Australian Music Radio Airplay Project (AMRAP)
Purpose: The objectives of the AMRAP are to promote Contemporary Australian Music through the community broadcasting sector. The objective of the project will be met by development of Contemporary Australian Music programs for transmission via the community radio sector's satellite channels, or by other appropriate means; development of one or more websites on the Internet for the promotion of Contemporary Australian Music to the community broadcasting sector and the general public; and development of the distribution of Contemporary Australian Music to the community broadcasting sector, including commercially released recordings.
Money Available: $200,000 in total
Eligibilty: Grants are available to licensed community broadcasting stations (including TCBLs) and incorporated community broadcasting organisations only
