The Ethnic Grants Advisory Committee (EGAC) was elected by the NEMBC and used to advise the Community Broadcasting Foundation (CBF) on how to best distribute government funds allocated to ethnic broadcasting. EGAC has now been replaced with a CBF appointed advisory group called the Sector Investment Advisory Committee (SIAC)
The EGAC committee used to be elected at the NEMBC Annual General Meeting and would serve a two-year term. The last EGAC members were elected at the AGM in November 2015 and will served until November 2017.
