The NEMBC Board Communications
The NEMBC board met over the first weekend in March 2024. The Board resolved the need for the NEMBC to work with its members to plan and shape our sector together. There are two key follow ups from this meeting:
- To discuss member engagement, the upcoming Conference and to engage the sector in planning the future of the NEMBC
- Communicating information regarding the new Company Constitution and 2024 AGM
NEMBC Constitution
The National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters’ Council is the peak body for ethnic community broadcasters. The NEMBC develops policy, advocates on behalf of broadcasters, organises the annual National Conference and provides networking opportunities and resources for broadcasters.
The new NEMBC Company Constitution accepted at the NEMBC AGM in May 2022. The NEMBC became a registered Australian Public Company, Limited By Guarantee on the 8 January 2024, with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission
