on the Coronavirus
The NEMBC is working to assist its members and radio stations during these difficult times with information on the Coronavirus.
The NEMBC recommends that full time ethnic stations and other stations in a similar situation take a number of measurements to protect broadcasters and staff. Ethnic community broadcasters and particularly full time ethnic stations are at a particularly high risk due to a number of factors, including the prevalence of overseas travel within the communities and the nature of the work and shared equipment for preparation, recording and broadcast; and the fact that a lot of our volunteers fall into the high risk category for the effects of the virus.
The NEMBC held a webinar with 4EB on what stations are doing and how they are moving to remote broadcasting on the 19 March; watch the Webinar here. For useful tips for recording content at home click here
