The Byron Bay community has raised more than $9,000 to help sailor Jeff Sutton after his yacht drifted onto the beach earlier this month.
Now facing expensive salvage costs to remove the vessel, Jeff has received strong support from locals wanting to help get Wyuna 1 back into open water.
