International Women’s Day Announcements

The NEMBC Women’s Committee has recorded announcements to be played on community radio on International Women’s Day – March 8 each year.

International Women’s Day is a global celebration of the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future.

Three announcements have been recorded in 13 different languages and are available in MP3 file format for broadcasters to use on any community radio program.

1. First Announcement outlines the history of International Women’s Day
2. Second Announcement explores the diverse contributions women make to society
3. Third announcement highlights the inequality experienced by women around the world.
